Fasted Cardio
Ok my friends, Iโm sharing some fitness tips that work for me! I get asked all the time what my workout routine is to get fit. Specifically how I got my stomach toned after having my twins WITHOUT surgery! There are definitely a lot of factors that go into that! Some being I was fortunate enough to skip the C-section, good genes, and of course dedicated consistency!
So letโs get to ONE of my tips!
FASTED CARDIO:
Is doing cardio without any food in your body. BUT, doing the cardio in your fat burning heart rate zone.
When you work out in your fat-burning heart rate zone, your body taps into fat stores for energy instead of using basic sugars and carbohydrates. This can lead to burning that fat layer over your muscle. โ-> You want to stay in the fat burning cardio zone so you donโt ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐ฅ๐! My goal is to HAVE muscle tone! So I will stick to my fasted cardio, then go fuel up with either a protein shake or high protein breakfast, then I will get in a muscle building workout including weights.
